Five more weeks until I start classes at St. John's! Whee!!! I bought a desk. A fabulous, SOLID wood desk, complete with chair and bookshelf. Just my style too. Mission. Its perfect. I can't wait to have my own place. Currently I own a desk, a chair, a computer, a bookshelf, and a blender. Oh yeah, and some silverware. I have no bed, but I have a desk and a blender. My mother says my priorities are seriously screwed up. She's probably right about that, she usually is.

In any case, I absolutely cannot wait to be in Annapolis. I'm starting to have dreams about it I'm ready to be there so badly. I've received several calls lately from people looking for roommates, as my info was posted on the St. John's roommate/apartment bulletin board. Exciting! I feel like a little kid in the taffy shops I used to go to in Santa Barbara and Solvang! Fun, fun, fun!

I sent a lengthy letter regarding my activities this year, as well as my new address in Annapolis. Those letters went out earlier today, so you all should be receiving them shortly. And then there were graduation, birthday, and congratulations cards to send. Too bad I can't buy stock in the U.S. Postal Service--I'd make myself rich...off of me. Hmmm.

I re-watched Oh Brother Where Art Thou? the other night. I forgot how funny that movie is. For example: "Delmar, you ever been with a woman?" DELMAR: "No. I got to think about getting a house and (something else--I forget now) first." Hahahah. Or, "We thought you was a TOAD!"

I babble. It happens when I'm excited.

Hope all is well, and congratulations to the upcoming new addition to the long and distinguished line of Hollins alumnae, the class of 2004, as well as to Andrew on his JMU graduation, and to Patrick (ex-boyfriend) on his graduation from Univ. of Richmond (T.C. Williams) School of Law. Congrats to all. Birthday wishes to Gracen and Kate and my dear ol' Dad. Happy wedding wishes to Karina and Adrian. And to Paul, you're wonderful--always.

Off to bed....
