Whimper from the past
Today I got an email from an old high school friend. It was a photo of us when we were in high school, and a single line that went something like "I miss the old days."
The thing is this. I've had so many other people and times in my life, and each of them since then has been basically better. So how do I say "well actually no, I really don't. I'm sorry you married that guy you don't like, and stayed in your home town. I made different choices."
Ouch.
