Original Cindy looked into the jaws of death

I am addicted to Silk's Seasonal Soy Milk Flavor Pumpkin Spice. I put it in both my morning chai and my afternoon coffee and everything becomes spicy and warm.

My morning went a lot like this: make aforementioned Pumpkin Spice chai; get extremely frustrated by the brick wall I'm hitting with the Frank/Gerard; not so much write for an hour as edit and make notes of things I need to write later; listen to Under the Cork Tree (my new favorite get-motivated album) on the exercise bike with the SciFi marathon of season one of Dark Angel on the tv on mute; wonder if I can stay in the shower all day; make lunch and coffee and sit down to before work to look at the Frank/Gerard; get extremely frustrated by the brick wall I'm hitting with the Frank/Gerard; wonder if I'm possibly in a repeating time loop.

Despite the fact that I work the same amount of hours every day, Tuesdays seem the longest. I don't know if it's just working the evening shift or if it's the fact that Tuesdays are so early in the week to be dragging, but they always feel endless. I mean, I could be getting things done around the house! And by getting things done, I mean wearing pyjamas, wrapping Christmas presents, and watching the rest of the Dark Angel marathon. The first season has so much personality. I don't really spend a lot of time thinking about dystopian world stories, but when I do, I think of Dark Angel and the way that, after a catastrophe, life goes on pretty much as it always did; class divides, black markets, romance and rescues, except that there's life Before the Pulse and life After the Pulse and it shows up in the details, like running out of toothpaste and having nowhere to go to get more.

I want to say something about the news that Patrick Stump will be guest-appearing on Law & Order in January, but it keeps coming out as, "Where is the cop AU?" or sometimes, "Why can't he be on SVU?" Come on, you can't tell me you wouldn't want to see him interrogated by Fin and Munch.

Tuesday! You're.....still feeling like forever passing me by.

eyes only, coffee on demand, whatever remains however improbable
