Khaaaaaan!!!

I watched another episode of Veronica Mars - The Wrath of Con. The flashbacks to Lily are really important in Veronica's character; it matters to me that she wasn't always calm and quick with quips and snarky. It's even more powerful if she used to be a popular high school girl with a popular best friend and a popular boyfriend. It's funny how the Kanes and Veronica were a family unit of a sort. Also funny that it's now I've started to suspect Mrs. Kane of Lily's murder.

I also watched Resistance from Season 2 Battlestar Galactia. Oh, Starbuck. I still don't like her with Anders, but I like the peek we get of the Starbuck who could have been the professional pyramid player instead of the best viper pilot in the fleet. Also, the President continues to impress me with her confidence and her power. I'd forgotten about how she just walks past the guard with the gun aimed at her during her escape.

Although, can anyone tell me why the BSG season 2 DVDs I have only go up to Pegasus? The rest of the season is still considered season 2, right? Resurrection Ship and Scar and Lay Down my Burdens and all that? Is there another DVD set with the rest of the episodes?

I am so in love with Pandora. Tonight, while showcasing other musicians like Vienna Teng, it played a song from Anne Heaton I'd last heard live in concert and hadn't realized she'd released on a CD. So much love.

General Hospital continues to entertain me. I'm enjoying the Bipolar!Sonny plot. I like Sonny' darkness, and I like the idea that it's suddenly going unchecked. They're doing an impressive job of building evidence of his illness, of the highs and lows. And I know I wasn't watching when the Sonny and Jason break-up and betrayal happened, but I wish it was a little more unresolved. Although I guess there isn't a lot for either Sonny or Jason to play off when we're talking mobster plots, but it just seems like that sort of betrayal would have cut a little deeper, or made their friendship at least a little harder to repair.

GH quote that cuts straight to my heart: Ric tells Alexis she shouldn't buy a house because she can't afford the appearance of impropriety. Alexis says, "Honey, my buying a house from Lorenzo Alcazar's fiance pales in comparison to my giving birth to Sonny Corinthos' child."

I was laughing so hard I had to pause TiVo for a good five minutes. Seriously, I love Alexis.

love makes you stupid, attorney mobster privilege, rainbow rainbow rainbow
