Update on the Search for the Perfect Chai: The teatender and I got into a discussion about the new minimum wage and so I forgot to ask for skim milk instead of whole milk in my kashmiri chai. Although I am thankful for this oversight because the whole milk chai tasted so incredibly good. Hmmm. I may need to rethink my opinions on which dairy belongs in my tea....
I am celebrating the arrival of June with a new hairstyle (bright and summery highlights and a cut that embrace the flippy thing my hair does in the back) and new eyeshadow (sparkly green and gold.) I'm also reading a collection of Mary Oliver, which, while not particularly seasonal, makes me remember I'm just as alive as the rhododendrons on my street and the geese on the river.
