Damn, it has been a long time. Four years as an E4, specialist. I can feel the years in my knees today. It has been a good day and a bad day. The ma'am decided today that she wanted the entire Platoon Operations Center set up. Now. Let me say that there is something to this planning thing. It has been largely a lot of headaches. I have deep grievances about operational security implementation as well. I wish just once she would be a part of the setup process so that she could at least have an idea what she was asking.
Oh well, nothing that a little Ayn Rand can't fix. It only took the first twenty pages for me to be completely empathetic to protagonist. And in that time span to feel exalted at her bearing and conduct; her moral compass, if you will. Tomorrow is another day. Perhaps it will be less hectic.
