This weekend was the Myanthea one-day. As usual, that meant that sarrciano and I drove to my parents' house (20 minutes from the site) to crash there Friday night. My dad was there, and we chatted a bit and watched an episode of Macguyver, which was really fun.

Saturday we slept in a bit, then headed to ( Myanthea )

Was a good weekend. Nothing terribly exciting, but a lot of fun stuff. We did some more unpacking and bought some storage containers to help with the organizing. The mattress was delivered Sat morning, and it is quite comfortable. Went to RJC's birthday party Sat night and had a lot of fun talking to people and playing on the jumpy thingee. Busy weekend. Friday night we drove to my parents' place to crash (it's 20 minutes from the Volta 1-day site), a plan which was marred only by both sarrciano and I forgetting our contacts at home, so we had to drive back there, resulting in a somewhat later bed-time than was optimal ( Read more... )

Had a fun and low-key weekend.

Sat morning was spent wasting time on computers and doing a bit of house-cleaning before someone came into our apartment. Around noon, winterswan came over, and we all went out to lunch at the restaurant down the street. Yummy food, and talking, and then back to our apartment for yet more talking. Fun times. Was pretty good. Very pretty movie, seemed to move very fast, cool special effects. Wasn't the best thing I've ever seen, but I had a good time. I especially liked their portrayal of faeries/fae creatures, in that even the friendly ones weren't so, well... friendly. Or reliable.
