How to save ABC
So I see a news report that Ted Koppel is leaving ABC News and Nightline is in jeopardy.
This network has had the ups and the downs over the years.. and just off the top of my head I just thought I'd save the network.
Here is my new fall lineup.
Monday through Friday
10pm Nightline - move to a place where it is A) watchable; B) not up against Leno/Letterman
Make it a news show a la News Night on CNN (and if you are looking for a host look there too)
Mondays
8-10pm Movie Night - so when Monday Night Football sucks up the TV you aren't dropping anything.
Tuesday - Friday
8-9 Sitcoms (So you need 8 sitcoms, they already have 7 .. some room for expansion)
9-10 Drama
Why not play smart about other networks. I'll just counter program NBC because I know there schedule off the top of my head.
Tuesday Blind Justice right before Law and Order:SVU
Wednesday Desperate Housewives (I love West Wing but its on life support)
Thursday Jake in Progress (why not use the Joey/Will and Grace lead in
Friday The Practice
Saturday Mystery and Intrigue
8pm Lost
9pm Alias
10pm Eyes
Sunday Family Night
7pm America's Funniest Home Videos
8pm Who Wants To be A Millionaire
9pm Extreme Home Makeover
10pm Rotating Reality Show (Supernanny, Extreme whatever, Wife Swap, etc.)
Just some thoughts to take a break from school.
