I started to read a new book I had purchased, but I got slammed with playreading season. Before I knew it, months had passed. I also had to re-read a few scripts because my reviews were lost to a computer glitch. I'm going to list those as their own separate post.

I love this post. Even though I barely reached my goals this year, I contend it was due to the addition of my lovely Gregg to my life. He is a worthy distraction indeed. In the end, I read 57 titles over 52 weeks.

I spent several weeks reading A Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne. It was the height of the holidays that made it take so long. However, I also found I just wasn't as interested in this particular story. Maybe the stories are so well-known that all the surprise is gone now.

Hot damn! I’m finally on track. I think that’s the first time since the beginning of the year. First up we have The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. I hadn’t remembered that I’d read Neverwhere, I was just looking for a shorter book. This one has won the Newbery Medal, and I can see why.
