I want to pay a professional to make me a really nice website, easy to navigate, with search engine optimization. There are several problems. One, no one I've asked that I know personally has had a professional that they recommend. I have two recommended places from massage therapists who answered my question on Linked In. But two is not a really good way to judge options. Also, I have no idea how to judge the options! One basically said, "it's $40 an hour, I do it in WordPress so you can update it easily." The other gave me a fancy 10 page pdf proposal with figures and charts and I understand the words but have no idea how to evaluate the merits of the proposal or whether it is way more than I need. I have been paralyzed and avoiding making a decision, because I have no damned idea how to make an educated decision! Help!
