I'm not good with compliments, at least not the ones given to me in person. But online, easy peasy, lemon squeezy. Okay, not really, but I have so much love for this one random FMV I made last year. It was Pushing Daisies, Fake Palindromes by Andrew Bird. Lyrically, the song has absolutely NOTHING to do with the show. I just felt like making a random video for the show because, well, the show was quite random. It wasn't mundane or anything like that; it was quirky and whimsical. So anyway, I put the video together, uploaded it on YouTube, blah blah blah.
Couple of minutes ago, I got an email from YT about a comment someone left for the video. All I have to say is yay for introducing people to Andrew Bird! Anyway, I was looking through the stats & stuff & I see that someone embedded it in a forum at penny-arcade. & yay!
'Andrew Bird's "Fake Palindromes" was just playing on iTunes as this topic dropped into my mail box. And I know he has NOTHING to do with Pushing Daisies, I will forever and ever associate him with Pushing Daisies because of this goddamned awesome video...
In fact, this goddamned video introduced me to Andrew Bird in the first place. :D'
For some reason, that comment just made me very happy & makes me wanna get back to fanvidding again. I probably will, I have a couple of ideas for some videos; I just gotta get used to FCP again. Now. Time to actually start my philosophy homework...
