Anyway guise, you all remember that interview Hugh did on Conan where he talked about how he cut his finger (because he wanted ice cream, lolz. I love this guy so much, hahaha.) & how he kinda freaked out because his finger didn't start bleeding? Well I know what he means. I was cutting a tomato the other day & a lightly nicked my finger & I was staring at my finger, waiting for it to start bleeding & I was just like 'this is weird...' & then I cut my finger while I was slicing some melon & that started to bleed like a mother... I wanna play some guitar, dammit! I hate having a band-aid on my index finger. Damn.
Also, I know most of the people on my flist probably don't really read this, but if you do, I'm about to pimp out my friend's music. I usually don't, but holy crap, for a kid his age & for him to be an amazing lyricist, it's just...wow. Some of his stuff, it kinda reminds me of a song you'd hear at the end of an hour-long drama. Y'know, like episodes that are like the season 4 finale of [H]ouse, hahaha. But if you like indie-ish pop-folk type music - all acoustic guitar, some banjo, maybe some mandolin, occasionally a glockenspiel, then you should totally check this guy out. His name's Morgan Enos (I'll throw up a link after all this) & the songs I absolutely recommend are: Autumn Hands, Of Foxes, A Bird and a Wire, No Homes for Ghosts, & Firework Eyes. So go!
