Today has been a relatively productive day. I went grocery shopping with Sha, helped make chicken salad for dinner, and put away most of the laundry. I say most because I try very hard not to hang up Shane's pants. He has a large amount of them, tends to wear double layers, and said pants live in the back of the closet. Pants hangers are -heavy-. Unfortunately I didn't get the things I keep intending to do done, like calling the insurance people to get the clinic selected so I can make myself an appointment to see a doctor.
Tomorrow's plan is turning in cans, calling insurance people and, if I don't do it tonight, making buterscotch chip cookies. We've been out for awhile, and they're a favorite treat around here. I was waiting on the cookie box to be washed...now that it has I can make them. As long as I can gather up enough energy to, anyway.
I've been reading the Pern series by Anne McCaffrey and playing a lot of Civilization 4. Looking forward to game this weekend.
Made ranch dressing from scratch tonight. It's not bad, but tastes a bit odd. Considering that I made it from ingredients that popped into my head, I'm not surprised...I need to work on it a bit more. Perhaps I should take a look at some recipes for it, just to see what the actual ingredients are. :)
I have become addicted to Nips. They are evil little things...
Still nibbly after dinner. I want tiramisu. Forgot to pick it up at Fred Meyer tonight when I was there.
