What is a Jirris good at?

So, today after work I went and talked to a career councilor out at the local college. I took a test that inventoried my interests and how that related to possible careers. It was a little surprising in some ways, and not so much in others.

According to the test, I'd really do well as a Librarian. This doesn't surprise me so much. I like books, and I'd have an excuse to wear a sweater vest and make Moredena madly swoon over me. I think librarian is the one position in which one could conceivably wear one of those and fit in. Nevermind that it would probably take a bribe to get me in one, unless I was playing 'dress up' for my fabulous girlfriend.

It was good to get a modicum of direction. I've been in and out of school since highschool, dropping out each time. Art isn't a good career move for me, I've learned that. I'm way to scatterbrained and lacking in self-discipline to work without deadlines laid out for me. And lord knows I don't want to work in an environment where I'm a 'creative' and all the bullshit that comes from being one of the lone weirdies in the drone-hive. (coincidentally, the test said I would enjoy *running* a drone-hive)

The other thing was how well the 'profile' results dove-tailed with my Myers-Briggs classification. Annoyingly opinionated and endlessly tinkering with ideas and wanting to know things because they are *there*.

So, now I have to figure out if I'm actually ready to go back to school or not. That's the hard part.
