In between coughing up my lungs today, I've been doing a little research on the Harry Potter theme park that will be opening in Orlando this spring. The Superbowl commercial piqued my interest in the park. This is a conglomeration of what I've learned so far.

As a Harry Potter fan in London, I decided to visit a few Harry Potter locations. Of course, most scenes in the Harry Potter movies were shot on soundstages at movie studios, with some Hogwarts exteriors being shot up in Scotland. It was the Summer of Harry Potter in London. The mush-anticipated final book of the series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," was due to be released, just nine days after the movie "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" was to premiere. The nation was ablaze in Pottermania!

Just thought I'd take a break from reading the new Harry Potter book (chapter 8, woo! OMG R.A.B. IS KREACHER!?! WTF! I didn't see that one coming.) and give you a glimpse of the midnight sale here.

I found more Harry Potter stamps today, as you can see here.

In addition to the seven stamps, each of which depicts a book cover, they have also released a "miniature sheet" containing five stamps: the Hogwarts crest is on the center stamp, and each of the other stamps bears one of the House crests.
