I'm so fucking sick of people telling me to chop off my hair and give it to Locks of Love. Now, here is the kicker: Locks of Love is a charity that cuts off your hair at a participating salon and your hair goes to a wig maker that makes wigs for kids on Chemotherapy and have lost all of their hair. Sounds like a good karmatic thing, but here is what Locks of Love REALLY does: they lop off all of your hair and sell it to wig makers for them to sell to rich folks. Part of the proceeds they get from wig makers is donated to a cancer charity. So its not even like you are putting your hair on a cancer kids head. Plus, I already gave my car to a cancer charity. Morbidly ironic, my car was a hearse... i miss that car :(
