I kinda love it too...although, I also love Matt Smith and Karen Gillam, you can see on confidential (cos I'm that crazy), that they're such good friends now. You can also see that Matt is so much like 'his' doctor that I don't see him as copying Ten. Oh, and so many hints... I never realised before, but Moffat wrote some of my fave eps from the previous seasons.
Moffat's writing is so very satisfying in Who, everything seems so much richer - and Moffat is also the one who created Jack, who is also from the 51st century, so I assumed that River's competence not only came from her personality, but also from the fact she was raised in an extremely advanced century!
Next weeks look like loads of fun, I just wish I didn't have to wait another seven days for it...
I really liked this episode too, I keep hearing (well OK reading) people saying they dislike River but I'm still on yay she crosses over between different doctors glee. And they've kept her past (future, whatever the right tense is) just shrouded enough that I want to see more.
- I sort of assumed that the man she killed was actually the Doctor (and that he's sort of realised that and is saying it can be rewritten) but now can't quite make up my mind whether that makes sense or not, I want to know more *sulks*.

Spoilers :-P
I really loved this episode, it felt more like Moffat, to me, and less like Moffat trying emulate RTD.
You can add me to that list as well, Pers ;-) I squeed over the whole thing. Thought Eleven and Amy were adorable in the forest and the end just had me in a gigglefit. Loved it!
I think I'm not as invested in the show as I used to be (largely because of RTD's shenanigans, and also because of fandom's bitchiness), so I'm not that fussed about what happened between them - just waiting to see what Moffat does with it.

You're one of the few people I've read so far on my FList who's not appalled by Amy attempting to jump Eleven's bones...
