Doctor Who: 5X05
Yes, I know, I'm being marvelously uncritical, but I really like this season.
The more I watch Eleven, the more i adore him. I know some think he's too like Ten, but I don't find that at all. Ten, to me, was a bit of a lad, a bit cocky; I don't get that impression from Eleven.
Random comments about the episode:
Yay! River rescues Amy! Companions doing it for themselves!
I also got the very big impression that IMPORTANT STUFF got mentioned in this episode. (Pandoricom(um?) anyone?)
And then there are the puns - I think you've forgotten the gravity of the situation - hee!
And that interlude between River and the Doctor at the end:
Doctor: That's a fairytale.
River:Ah, Doctor, aren't we all.
And the small, contemplative, yet slightly gleeful way the Doctor said, time can be rewritten, made me slightly worried, because I've got the distinct impression that this Doctor may be thinking of impossible things, things he might change...
And I'm beginning to really love his relationship with Amy, they're just so squishy in the Treeborg forest, when he kisses her forehead, and even squishier when Amy tries to hop him at the end, and he gets all flustered and is all, I'm nine hundred and seven years old!
And her answer: Oh, you're quite sweet Doctor, but I really wasn't suggesting anything quite that long term.
