My parents came by today (all day) and we fixed a lot of stuff around the new house. I moved a whole tree ALL BY MYSELF! It had fallen on top of the fence behind my shed and flattened it, so Zeus would escape and end up in the neighbor's yard and come back with mud up to his shoulders. Apparently there is a small spring behind my yard, so that explains the cypress knots and overall swampiness. Anyway my dad had this thing called a comealong- basically a hand winch that you just tie to another tree (or other stationary object) and crank away. It felt cool to move a whole tree. It kind of makes a bridge now, to the side of the shed, and you can go further into the jungle out on the "dock".
My dad also spent 4 HOURS replacing the belt on the treadmill (I helped!) but neither of us expected it to be so freaking complicated. Man there were at least 20 screws taken out, and the belt was fun to get on (sarcasm).
UUuuummmm... well I did write something this morning about my life and love, and utter confusion. I deleted it though. Airing out your dirty laundry is awkward. I guess the bottom line is I don't know what I want. And that sucks. :P Love-wise anyway. As for life, a new door has opened- Y'all know how I wanted to go back to school for archaeology so I can travel the world, but I still wanted to do something with the degree I'm getting now. Two words: archaeological illustrator! I'll be on the dig and everything, copying artifacts and making diagrams of dig schedules. Exciting.
