However, if there are any similarities, she did not mean to copy them. The author just thought that Aiko and Aya sounded good for her fan fiction. ^^
Summary: A professional assassin and a daughter of the most wanted drug lord in Japan- indeed, the world is full of cruel and dangerous people. Can true love still exist between the two of them? Can a night of passion and uninhibited responses soften their harsh way of life and on towards a fragile and more vulnerable one?
Jin and Aiko would try to find out if pure lilies could match well with cold, hard guns.
Warning: This one-shot fan fiction might be quite long so please bear with it. There are no boy-to-boy pairings here so if you are uncomfortable with Jin pairing up with a girl, it would be ok with the author if you will not read it. SMOKE emanated from the pistol in his hand. Jin glanced at the dead person on the floor and saw blood oozing from his forehead. He lowered his hand with the gun and then said, “Well I might have been too cruel.” He immediately slid the gun back into his pocket and looked at his wristwatch. “I need to hurry or my plane will take off without me.”
While on the taxi on his way to John F. Kennedy International Airport, he thought to himself, “So I have to get on to that thing again, huh. As much a possible I don’t like taking planes.” Left with no other choice he got off the taxi and headed towards the airport’s main entrance.
***
HE really could not stand airplanes. Jin could not stay put in his seat while the humongous jet zoomed out across the sky. “This is nuts! I have ridden planes countless of times before and I still cannot overcome this disgusting feeling!” he thought, grumbling, while looking intently at the seat in front of him. “When I get to Japan, I’ll visit Dr. Kazuma again.”, he said to himself.
As the plane made its way to the runway of Narita International Airport, his grip tightened more on the seat’s armrest. “Don’t worry, this would be over in minutes…” he assured himself. Then just as he predicted, the plane stopped moving and then he stood up from his seat. He made his way into the tube, on towards the immigration, and off to the airport’s exit. “I’ll need something to fix my jetlag…” he said. He hailed a taxi outside the airport and asked the driver to take him to the nearest pharmacy. After a while, he got off the taxi and entered the nearby pharmacy.
“I want something for my jetlag. I think I am a bit nauseous…” Jin said to the pharmacist.
“Right away.” the pharmacist, replied. After some time, the pharmacist prescribed him with a little pill.
“Take this as soon as possible. It’s ok even if you don’t eat anything. Still it would be better if you’ll have enough rest.” he explained to Jin.
“Thank you very much.” Jin said as he took the little pill from the pharmacist. “Can I ask for a glass of water? I would like to take this pill right away.” he politely asked of the pharmacist.
“Sure. You can get it from the water dispenser over there.” He pointed to the machine in the corner.
Jin helped himself with a full glass of water and drank the little pill straight away. He thanked the pharmacist profusely and then headed outside. He walked along the busy streets of Tokyo and came across a flower shop. “Well, I’ll buy something for my mom and my sister.” He went inside the small flower shop and walked directly towards the counter. He greeted the man then said, “I want a dozen roses and a dozen lilies. Please have it arranged, too.” he asked of the vendor. When the flowers were finished, he paid the bill and then went outside. He got inside a waiting taxi and told the driver his home address.
When he got home, his dogs greeted him with wagging tails and licks from their monstrous tongues. “I’ve missed you too guys!” he told his dogs. He then immediately went into the front door and opened it. “I’m home!” he called out. His sister emerged from her room while his mother presented herself with an apron around her waist. “I’m home.” he told them again. His mother lunged at him into a big hug and then his sister joined in, too.
“I’ve missed you Jin!” his mother and sister said together.
“I’ve missed both of you, too!” Jin said to the two.
He broke from the fierce hugs later on and gave the flowers to his mother and sister. His mom cried from too much emotion while his sister said, “Alright. You have been forgiven for being gone for almost three years.” His sister chuckled and cried at he same time.
“Let’s get you something to eat, ok. I’ll make your favorite dish.’ His mother said while dabbing at her eyes with her apron.
Over dinner, his mother, with a worried look on her face, asked Jin, “How was your trip? Are you alright?” Obviously, his mom knew about his plane phobia.
“Yeah, I’m ok. Don’t worry mom.” Jin assured his mother.
“Until when are you going to stay here? Would you be here for good?” his mom asked hopefully.
“Mom, you know how my work is. I don’t know until when I am gong to stay here. If I’ll receive a call from my boss, I’ll have to go there immediately. Please try to understand mom.” Jin pleaded to his mom.
“I know. I’m just worried about you.”
“Don’t worry mom, I’ll be fine.” He said with full of assurance.
The dinner progressed with more tales and laughter. When they were finished and when the dishes have been put away, Jin excused himself and went straight to bed. As he was changing into his pajamas, he suddenly thought, “Oh! I need to visit Dr. Kazuma first thing tomorrow.” He then pulled back the covers of his bed and slept immediately as soon as he lied down.
***
“MAY I come in?” Jin asked as he opened the door to Dr. Kazuma’s clinic. Dr. Kazuma turned as soon as the door opened and heard Jin’s voice.
“Jin, is that you?” Dr. Kazuma could not believe what he is seeing at the moment.
“It’s been a long time.” Jin held out his hand for his best friend to shake.
“Yeah, it’s been a long time!” Dr. Kazuma accepted Jin’s hand. “Please have a seat.”
“So what brings you here? I haven’t seen you for almost three years.” Dr. Kazuma exclaimed, beaming at his friend.
“Well, you know… The usual thing…” Jin replied, feeling slightly embarrassed at the moment.
“You’ve just ridden a plane, didn’t you?” he asked of Jin.
“I’ve just arrived from New York yesterday, yes.” Jin stated.
“Do you want to talk about it?
“Well, kind of. It’s just that, It’s very disgusting. People in the plane are smirking at me. They think it’s my first time riding a plane and that I can’t stay put in my seat.” Jin grumbled.
“It seems like you have a unique phobia here. You’ve mentioned before that you’re not afraid of heights, right?” Dr. Kazuma asked, Jin nodding his head at him, “but riding a plane scares the hell out of the living daylights from you.”
“Yes, it does.” Jin interjected politely.
“Hmmm, let me see… Well, I’ll just prescribe some anti-anxiety medications to lessen the degree of anxiety attacks. However, you have to take note that this will not make the phobia go away. We just want to lessen the attacks in the future. You should have plenty of rest and relieve most of your stress, ok.” Dr. Kazuma advised.
“Yes I will.” Jin complied. “I’ll have to go now. It may be long time before I’ll be able to visit you again doctor.”
“It’s ok. If you need anything, just call me, I’m just a dial away.”
“I will! Thank you very much.” Jin stood up and prepared to leave. He shook hands with the doctor and then exited through the door.
After his visit to Dr. Kazuma, he went to a pharmacy and bought the prescribed medicines. Just as he was closing the door to the pharmacy, he saw a woman save a little girl from a near accident. He was about to look and walk the opposite way when a car zoomed in front of him. The woman did not notice the vehicle coming and was rooted to her spot in the center of the street with he child. With speed as fast as lightning, Jin rushed towards the woman and the child and grabbed both of them into the safety of the sidewalk, nearly missing the woman’s arm in the process.
“Whoa! That was close!” Jin exclaimed. “Are you alright?” He said to the woman.
“Yes, I’m fine. Thank you very much. We owe you our lives.” The woman thanked Jin profusely. Jin turned to the child and asked, “Are you ok? Does anything hurt you?”
The child looked up to him and shook her little head, her heavy curls bouncing back and fort. She then ran off towards the direction of her mother and told her what had happened. The mother looked into them and bowed her head in the process, conveying her silent gratitude for saving her daughter’s life.
They both glanced as the child ran towards her mother. When mother and child had disappeared in the corner, the woman turned back to Jin, “I really thank you for saving us. We could have died back there. I’m very grateful to you.”
“Er, you’re welcome. I couldn’t just stand there and watch when I knew I could do something to help.” Jin replied shyly.
“You’re very kind.” The woman said then flashed him very bright smile.
At that moment, Jin froze in his spot. This woman is just so captivating. She looks like an angel. Oh, wait! Maybe I’m just seeing things. Is she for real? She’s so beautiful!
“How about a cup of tea?” Jin asked of the woman
“Let’s have that. As a sign of my deep gratitude, the treat is on me.” The woman stated. Jin was rewarded yet again with her entrancing smile.
They walked towards a nearby coffee shop and seated on an empty table outside.
“Oh! I haven’t introduced myself yet. I’m Aiko. Ishikawa Aiko. I’m pleased to meet you!”
“It’s nice to meet you, too. I’m Akanishi Jin. The two shook hands for a long time-Jin, not letting go of Aiko’s hand.
“What would you like to have?” Aiko inquired. Jin, realizing he had been holding Aiko’s hand for a long time, reluctantly let go of it.
“I’ll just have a cappuccino.” Jin replied
“We’ll have a cappuccino and tea please.” Aiko said to the waiter.
Jin and Aiko became at ease with each other’s presence- conversing into one another until they’ve finished their drinks. When they run out of things to talk about, Aiko stood up and prepared to leave. Jin suddenly took hold of her arm and Aiko was forced to look back at him.
“Is there something wrong?” Aiko asked Jin.
“Will we see each other again?” he asked, looking intently into Aiko’s inquiring eyes.
“I don’t know. I guess we’ll just have to see right?” Aiko replied, looking also into Jin’s hopeful eyes.
Jin could only stare at her back as she left the coffee shop. Why didn’t I ask for her mail address? I’m so stupid!
“Ishikawa Aiko… I have to see you again. I really have to.” Jin said, full of conviction.

“HI Maru!” Aiko greeted as she opened the door to the flower shop.
“Hey Aiko. It’s been a long time since you’ve last visited my shop!” Maru replied happily, as he intercepted Aiko and gave her a big hug. “What brings you here?
“Well, I just want to have some flower decorations at home- Nothing fancy or whatsoever, just enough to brighten up the house.” Aiko replied while sniffing at the blooming red roses.
“How about some lilies and Malaysian Mums? The white Lilies would contrast well to the colorful Malaysian Mums.” Maru suggested to Aiko. He then went over to the wide array of flower baskets and picked some Lilies and Malaysian Mums.
“Here you go.” Maru gave the flowers to Aiko. “I can make an arrangement that would match well your house’s interior.
“They’re very pretty, Maru. You really know the kind of flowers I like.” Aiko exclaimed, holding the flowers close to her.
“Excuse me.” A man shouted as he pushed the shop’s door open.
“Welcome tour shop, sir!” Maru called out to the man who had just entered. The man walked over to the counter and greeted Maru.
“Hello. Can I have some Lilies, a dozen please.” Jin asked of Maru.
As soon as she heard the man’s voice when he entered the shop, Aiko froze and was rooted to her spot. The man’s voice is so damn familiar. It had been haunting her dreams for the past few weeks. She couldn’t even get a decent sleep because of that. His voice was music to her ears. When the moved towards the counter beside her, she gathered all her courage and turned to look at the man beside her. She almost dropped the basket of flowers she was holding when she took a closer look at the man. It’s Jin! He became more gorgeous the past weeks they hadn’t seen each other. More manly. More intense.
When Jin felt the intense eyes staring at him, he broke his gaze from the flowers and turned to look at the woman. He could not believe what he’s seeing at the moment. He thought it was just his eyes playing tricks on him, but then the woman looked intently at him and that’s when he realizes it was Aiko. “I’ve finally found you…” Jin thought as he continued to gaze into Aiko’s eyes.
“Hello. I see we’ve met each other again.’ Aiko said, breaking the silence that settled.
“Hi. It’s nice to see you again.” Jin couldn’t get his mouth to speak clearly.
“Yeah, same here.” Was only Aiko could say at the moment.
Both of them only stood there looking at each other in silence, neither one of them tried to break the spell that had settled between them.
“Ahem, ahem.” Maru interjected. “Here are the Lilies you’ve asked for, sir. Shall I have it arranged?” Maru asked Jin.
“Yes, please do.” He still couldn’t get his eyes off Aiko.
“Who are those for?” Aiko asked Jin, a smile written on her face.
“This one? They’re for my girlfriend.” Jin lied, trying to see the reaction from Aiko.
“Oh I see.” Were the only words she spoke before she turned to look away.
Jin saw the dramatic change in Aiko’s reaction from happiness to disappointment. He couldn’t help but smile about it. Obviously, she was expecting something.
“Hey Aiko, here’s your flower arrangement. I’ve added something special there for free. Maru said.
“Thanks Maru. I’ll be heading off now.” She said to Maru. “Excuse me.” She said to Jin as she walked past him.
Jin felt Aiko exert a little much pressure at the door as she was opening it and he couldn’t help but smile again.
“I would have another dozen of flowers. Lilies, I think. Have it arranged and please deliver it to the woman’s address.” Jin pointed to Aiko who had just crossed the street.
“A dozen Lilies for Ms. Ishikawa, to be delivered at her residence… Ok, I got it.” Maru complied.
“Thanks very much. Here’s a tip for the hard work.” Jin added a few bills.
“Thank you very much, sir! Oh, by the way, what time do you want the flowers be delivered?” He asked Jin.
“Have it be delivered by 9PM, would that be ok?
“Yeah, no problem. Please come again.” Maru called out to Jin.
“Yes, I will.” Jin replied as he turned out to leave.

“SO he has a girlfriend, huh…” Aiko thought as she stared at the flowers she bought a while ago. She had placed it atop a small table near the sofa of her living room and instead of comforting her, the flowers made her feel irritated at the moment. “And, as if things could get any worse, it was my favorite flower he’s giving to his girlfriend!” She grabbed the basket of flowers and was in the act of throwing it away in the trashcan when the doorbell rang.
“Just a minute!” Aiko called out to whoever was outside her door. She placed the basket of flowers back into the small table and then walked towards the door to look at the peephole. “A flower delivery? From whom?” She asked to herself.
“Yes? May I help you?” She asked of the man.
“Is this the residence of Ms. Aiko Ishikawa.?”
“Yes. I am she.” She countered.
“I have a delivery for you. Could you please sign here?” The man asked of Aiko. She then took hold of flowers and signed the papers.
When the deliveryman went away, she closed her door and examined the flowers. She was looking for any note but could not find anything.
“Who would’ve sent this?” She asked. Then suddenly she received a call in her cellphone. She picked it up and looked at the screen. “Unknown number? Who could this be?”
“Hello? Who’s this please?” Aiko asked as she picked up the call.
“Did you receive the flowers?” the man asked on the other line.
“Who’s this?” she’s getting suspicious with what is happening at the moment.
“Look out your window.” The man said.
Aiko went over the front windows and pulled away the curtains a bit. She was shocked to see Jin standing outside her gate.
“What are you doing here? How’d you know where I live? How’d you know my phone number?” she asked Jin with rapid succession.
“Er, can we talk inside? It’s freezing here.” Jin said, wrapping his jacket around himself.
“Oh! I’m sorry.” Aiko pressed the end button and rushed outside. She opened the gate and let Jin in. Once inside, Aiko offered him a seat and settled herself across from him.
“Are you stalking me? How’d you know here? My phone number, how did you get it?” Aiko asked Jin with suspicion in her eyes.
“Calm down, ok. I’m not a bad person. First, I’m not stalking you, so please don’t look at me like I’m some sort of a freak following you around. Second, I got your address in the list of Maru’s costumers. It seems like you’re a regular there. Lastly, about your phone number, I’ve asked Maru about it. But!” he held up his hand when he saw the murderous expression on Aiko’s face. “I obliged him to tell me. He wouldn’t want top give it though, but I bowed down to him, so he did.” Jin said, chuckling.
“You bowed down to him, huh.” Aiko’s disbelief was apparent. “But then how about the girlfriend you’re talking about in the flower shop?”
“Oh, that? Actually, the flowers are for my mom. It’s her birthday today.” He explained to Aiko.
“Ah I see. I thought…” Aiko caught herself suddenly. She was about to blurt out something unnecessary, but kept her mouth shut.
“You thought what?” Jin asked, a slight grin appeared on his face.
“Nothing, really. Er, would you like some tea? I’ll go get some.” Aiko immediately stood up to get the drinks but Jin latched his hand onto her arm. He pulled her close to him; she could feel Jin’s breath on her face.
“You thought what? That I have a girlfriend? That I have someone waiting for me? That I’m in love with somebody else?” he teased, not letting go of her arm.
“You have no business in my personal affairs.” Aiko countered, averting her eyes from Jin’s inviting lips.
Jin caught her chin between his thumb and forefinger and forced her to look at him. “As a matter of fact, I do.” Jin’s husky voice is making her hormones get out of control. “Because you see, you’re going to be mine.” Jin said seductively, tracing Aiko’s lips with his thumb.
In silence, Jin studied her face as if he was searching for a response, and while Aiko was distracted by that, he was slowly pulling her forward. His eyes were so gentle that it disturbed her balance as much as her action.
Aiko gazed at the sensual mouth only inches from hers. Inviting mouth. Tender smile. She couldn’t think straight and her control is slipping away.
Jin moved his lips closer to hers and her heart began to race with excitement. Her eyes drifted close and her breath came out in a sigh. He kissed her softly and she felt her lips answer him, moving on his, moving with them. He slid his hands up her arms and tightened his hold. Aiko broke the kiss and Jin let her, but the body beneath hers was hardening and his eyes were beginning to smolder. He laid his palm against her cheek, slowing running it back, curving it around her nape, urging her closer again.
Aiko’s legs went weak, and her breast flattened against his chest as his mouth opened on hers in a deep hungry kiss. His fingers shoved into her hair, holding her mouth imprisoned. He was still kissing her passionately when he carried her in his arms and walked towards her bedroom. Jin laid her down on the huge bed and kissed her fiercely, slanting over hers again and again.
His tongue tasted, urged, and slowly drove into her mouth while his thighs pressed into her. Rigid thighs. Demanding.
Her hands pressed him closer; her body strained nearer. He tore his mouth from hers long enough to unbutton her shirt and spread it open. The beauty that he beheld nudged him another step closer to the edge.
Together they were caressing hands, eager mouths, and urgent limbs shedding clothes to give more pleasure.
Her breast were beautiful, his body a sculpture, he was master, he was enslaved. His groan was her music and her sigh was his benediction. They clung together unmoving, while her body welcomed the slow thrusting heat of him, and what began as a gentle rocking became fierce, demanding thrusts. She strained toward him in trembling need and he drove into her again and again in a desperate desire to take her with him all the way. She cried out and held him when she found it, and he joined her there.
Afterward, as she lay crushed tightly in his arms, the tears falling softly on his chest were hers. He felt them there as he stared beyond. He closed his eyes and knelt beneath the heavens, head bowed as he offered bargains, bribes and promises. Moreover, when no answer came, he whispered fiercely, “Please.” He laid his hand against her wet cheek; she turned her face into his palm. “I love you.” She whispered.
Jin felt blessed.
***
JIN woke up and found himself sprawled on his back with Aiko at his side. He gazed down at the woman who had just sent him to unparalleled heights of desire and unequalled depths of satisfaction. He couldn’t help but smile as he moved away a lock of hair that covered her face. He’d never experience this kind of lovemaking in his entire life, let alone begging to God for Aiko to tell him that she loves him.
He was going back to sleep again when his cellphone rang at the bedside. He was willing it to stop but the annoying device kept ringing and he got irritated. Left with no other choice, he tried to get up without waking Aiko and immediately took the call from the insistent caller.
“Who might be calling me at this time?” He thought to himself as he pushed the green button.
“Hello?” Jin said with a sleepy voice.
“Is this the assassin?” the caller asked in a baritone voice.
Jin paused for a moment as he tried to clear his head. Oh yeah, I still have the job.
“Yes, I am he.” He said to the caller.
“I have an assignment for you. I will fax the documents you’ll need and we’ll talk again later.” The man said before he abruptly ended the call.
Jin walked over to the window and stared at the trees beyond. He was contemplating on the call he had just received. So I’m back on it again, huh. He glanced at Aiko who is still sleeping soundly on the bed. He just stood there staring at her, memorizing every detail of her because he knew that he have to leave her forever. He has to step out of her life right this minute before he became too attached and never let go. I know that what I’m going to do would be unfair to you, but I want you to know that I love you so much.
He picked up his clothes that had strewn on the floor and immediately dressed. He walked over to the door and opened it. He looked back at the sleeping Aiko and stilled. He went back to her and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
“I love you and I’m sorry.” He whispered into her ear and headed again to the door.
When he got outside the room, he pulled the door close and sighed. Before he could change his mind, he moved away quietly from the door, away from her house, and away from her life…
Aiko felt Jin’s kiss on her forehead but she did not open her eyes. When she heard the door close and the footsteps are moving away, she got up from her bed, clutching the blanket to cover her naked body. She immediately went over to the window and squinted on the front gate. She just saw Jin move towards his car and got in it. She watched as he started the engine and backed off from the parking lot. She was still looking at his car until it disappeared in the corner when she realized a tear slid down her flushed cheeks. She wiped it away with the back of her hand and tried to calm herself. “It’s ok Aiko. Everything’s back from the way it was.” She thought to herself. She thought of Jin and remembered what he said to her a while ago. “Don’t say sorry Jin. Don’t say sorry at all.”
