CF = Canadian Friend
EF = English/British Friend
AF = American Friend
CF: Japan adopted Christmas into their culture and celebrate it differently than North America. It is a holiday mainly for couples (with exceptions of course) one of the things that has evolved out of Japan is the Christmas cake!
AF: My kids are still shocked when I tell them the cake is a lie. Then again, today I almost made them cry when I told them no Americans like the song "Last Christmas" and that it's nowhere near a Christmas classic. What will I destroy next?! KENTUCKY????!!!!! Yes... Yes, I think I will *rubs hands together*
EF: hold on one dang minute!!! no american like last christmas..???!! not a classic???! i am shocked! it is HUGE in the UK
AF: ...please be joking
CF: Canada and America shun last Christmas!
Now I can't get the image of England rocking out to Last Christmas at Japan's karaoke Christmas party, and Canada and America shuddering and slowing inching away.
...there is a possibility this may end up worked into a certain someone's drabble request.
