Dude...
Seeing all those "Hetalia Day Meet-Ups" on the Hetalia community got me thinking: 'Hey, I live in Japan, land of anime and manga, yet no one ever arranges a meet-up here.'
So, I made a post, just to see if there was interest in such a thing.
The replies? Along the lines of "you need to post this to the Japanese community" and so on.
Is is so fucking hard to understand that there ARE foreigners living in Japan?! Apparently it is, as one person actually said she only saw foreigners while touring in Kyoto!! >_<
For clarification, I have nothing against making friends with Japanese fans. But I posted it to the English community in order to include other expatriates and so forth who might be living here. I'm happy to post it to the Japanese community in addition, but honestly now? We do so exist!
(Hetalia World Day is apparently going to the October 24th, which is why people are arranging all these meet-ups. It just so happens to be convenient as October 25th is Osaka's Comic City 76, which I already planned on attending.)
