My Date with Dr. Goodhead

Jan 11, 2007 17:23

Yep...  I haven't posted in ages.  And I pretty much know why.  Since June of 2006, I haven't been the happiest fellow in the world.  I'm pretty much sick of my work, I'm sick of the way I am feeling, and I am sick of the way I look.  And the one thing that would always put a smile on my face and make everything right in the world was seeing Tara ( Read more... )

And we at CareTech are waiting with baited breath to find out how it went. You should post again or get on IM to tell us about it. ;)

We'll find out next week. I've been bugging him to write more, post more, call more since forever.

Hey now! I get busy with things ya punk! And I simply hate phones. I perceive them more as tethers than a comforting communication tool. I'm on the phone all day at work. That last thing I want to do is talk one afterward. But then, I have never really liked talking on the phone anyway. It eats up way too much time. I just assume hook up in person and talk. And it is difficult for me to balance everything.

Ya punk!

Today is Mel C's birthday. I posted some pictures of her. She's wonderful. Yeah. I know that when I was working at Shar I wanted to get the fuck away from the phone afterwards. I love them as a way to talk to people that are too far away to conveniently hang out with. Hey, be sure to check out the pics of the A2 Bob's.

(And it's I'd just as soon hook up in person.)
It took me a second to get that sentence when I saw it, so I read it out loud, and got it right away. :-)

I hasten to say it was great. I enjoyed her company. I thought she was really cute. We had good conversation about family and friends. I made her laugh a couple times. She was smiling a great deal. But I don't know if she had a really good time or not. I mean, after dinner she walked me to the car garage, gave me a hug, thanked me for dinner and said she would give me a call. I'm not saying I planned on staying the night at her place or anything, but perhaps go to a coffee shop or something?! Methinks she wasn't as impressed with me in person as she was on the phone. Which is exactly what I thought would happen. Time will tell I suppose.

Remember, it was a weeknight, so she may not have had the time to go for coffee. My first few dates with Cathy didn't run very late either. They were like sticking your toes in the water at Natural Bridges before getting adjusted to the water temperature.
Of corse we know the only way to do it is to just jump into the water and swim into the wonderful cavey goodness.

Dude, I just looked at your profile. You went to Gladwin. Home of the Flying G's. Cool! G's is my favorite pizza! I used to run the board for Gladwin games on the radio when I lived in Tawas. I'm gonna add you, if that's cool.

Sure, I've got no problem being added or read, heck, I post my heart on the internet!
And G's is no longer there. Well, it actually is still there, but now it's M's. And actually, the people are pretty much the same, and some of them are exactly the same. Either way, the pizza is still great.

G's in East Tawas is no longer G's?!? Holy crap!! I was just there this summer. I hate when shit changes. I'll have to taste the pizza to make sure the world is still okay.

Oh, wow, East Tawas... nevermind, I thought you were talking about downtown Gladwin. No, G's in Tawas is still there.
The place in Gladwin was G's, then Mr. Mikes, and is now Mr. M's... I just wasn't awake enough to catch the location part of your statement.

No sweat. I never ate in Gladwin. I only worked their games. More often, back at the station, but at least once I drove out there for either hoops or football to help set up broadcast equipment.
