It's snowing. Blah. Done. Other stuff of perhaps more import:
Second date went well though not as good as the first. Mostly my fault so I have to be extra good tomorrow for no.3. Time to go to him out on the Island and enjoy (or do my best to enjoy) some Italian food and a movie I have no interest in seeing. It's a good thing I like this guy...and that it's his birthday.
I'm officially working at the new job, which is basically my old job with the same (low) salary and a step back in position. Now, while this may sound like a complaint, it basically isn't. I'm glad for the job. Would I like to be making more than I have for the past year. HELLZ YEAH! Would I like to be more upwardly mobile. Well, duh! But I have to recognize that I have to put more effort in (and maybe not blog during the business day) and try my best to learn about the legal field. I mean, I'm here and it's actually interesting on a practical level. I just have to decide what I want to be when I grow up.
Lastly, I really want to get a place of my own or even a share with another 30-something that's closer to work. I have to network more on that, I think. If anyone reading this also needs a place or a new place or a roommate, please gimme a hollar.
Now, it's time to file papers and answer phones. Yay, payday! Boo, hell freezing over and coming to Earth!
