So today was sort of random. We had a 30 second black out which is long enough to be annoying and delete what I was working on but not long enough to cause any sort of meaningful break in my work day, and then around 2 we had a mini earthquake. So now there's radiation seeping into Tokyo and Shin-chan reports that Tokyo Bay is doing weird shit.

I really hope none of my friends gets radiation poisoning; I'm terrible at making origami cranes.

Yann has just informed me that Hachioji is turning off their power starting tomorrow (which is really today). I hope I'm misinterpreting that, because if they're shutting down the whole power grid and rationing it out, I can't stay in touch with anyone. It also puts a hurting on the food supply, which is already strained up in Touhoku ( Read more... )
