Katey B, there will never not be a time when we make fun of you for stuff.
Got some things done today that have been hanging around forever, most notably hearing back about exchanging my money (the place can do the whole amount, but I have to wait till Monday to pick it up) and getting my damn flashcards laminated at Kinko's. They came out really nicely, especially with the patterned blue cardstock on the back. Go me!
Mom and I also brainstormed a bunch of games I could do in classes to help the kids use and memorize vocab and so on, and it was a lot of fun. It's so bizarre, actually looking forward to a job and enjoying preparation for it.
The Tommy and Skinner Berneros came over for dinner tonight, which was awesome, since it was a mini-Thanksgiving (which shocked them, as they were expecting pizza and cake). There was mushroom glazed chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, rolls, and most importantly, STUFFING. <3 <3 <3
I also drank a bunch of the craft beer Tiffany and Greg gave me last week. Word.
We hung out for a long while, chatting and reminiscing, and ribbing each other. I showed everyone photos of my future apartment and the area I'll be living in, which is awesome.
Winding down a bit now before packing up a few last straggler items around my room.
