We're in the home stretch now!
Despite lots of things I was anxious about today, it all turned out pretty well. Matt wasn't dead and is spending the night with Dave, which is good as I worry about him driving alone and tired after trekking all the way to Pittsburgh and back. My bosses looked at me like I was nuts when I asked if I'd be fired when I came back, and it turns out I have enough vacation time to get paid for when I'm not here. Work flew by and we have our Christmas Pary/Secret Santa/Incentive Contest results tomorrow. I walked from the train stop to Shop Rite to get brownies for the party tomorrow and got some exercise (I thought to myself that the walk from my apartment to either of the grocery stores would never have daunted me in Japan, so why should it here?). I'm eating Fruit by the Foot. I was approved for a Visa card and it will (hopefully) be in this week so I can use it to pay for the hotel and as collateral for my rented phone.
This weekend is Christmas, and I'll get to see Meghan and Erin and Chris and possibly Mike.
Sunday I go to New York with Eunji and Linh to see Seulah.
Monday I go back to Japan.
MONDAY I GO BACK TO JAPAN.
I feel GOOD.
