Itchy!!!
The eye thing is back. I went to see the specialist again and then surprise, surprise, she said it was the skin cream causing it. Anyway, since I was there, I asked her to write a letter to the camp MO again for my review that should be coming up in May.
The specialist was someone new and I think she needs to work on her people-interaction skills. Everytime I tell her something, she goes "sure". That's so condescendingand sarcastic sounding. I don't think she means it tho. There's some scarring already from me getting it so many times... =( And they were talking about laser... eeps...
So they said it was the steroids in the cream (again!) and wrote another letter and had to waste another $70 to go see the dermatologist on 30th. Bought a 10g tube of cream, the one without the steroids, for $50.45. I like the dermatologist tho. She was the one who saw me before. She's funny. Not sure if she's local but speaks with a slight slang but uses "la". Anyways, she tells me that the cream with steroids were given to mice and after applying a zillion gallons, then some side effects were seen so that tiny amount souldn't be causing the CSR (eye thingy).
So I asked her what the side effects were for both. Apparently I'm f-ed both ways. The steroid cream will lead to increased pressure in the eye causing cataracts (not CSR apparently) etc. The non-steroid cream, besides making me even poorer, will give me cancers etc. But she stressed that only in super large amounts then they see those results. We use so little so it's ok. We even give it to babies. -_-"
The eye thing got worse after I saw the doc and then its getting better now but I'm still having the usual problems that comes with one blurry eye that sees things in a different size and distortions and straining the other eye...
Going back for another review on 15th Feb. Should have arranged it on 16th hor?
