Bad viewing night

Since I have the TV to myself tonight and can watch all sorts of weird shit without feeling guilty at subjecting TH to my more outre tastes, I watched Lars Van Trier's "Melancholia". Oh Good God. 7 minutes of slow-mo dramatic instances and WAY too freakin' much Wagner. And then it gets dull.
Life sucks, oops I slept with someone at our wedding banquet, now I'm depressed, oh, we're all going to die, yup, we die, loud noise, the end.

Seriously, von Trier needs help, starting with a high colonic made from two parts acai juice and one part arsenic.

To cheer myself up, I then watched "Swat", figuring Samuel L Jackson, Colin Farrell, LL Cool J (James Todd Smith, really?!) and Jeremy Renner would turn this night right around. Um, hell no. The only positive is that Jeremy Renner with earstud and throat mike is edible. Also, SLJ is badass. Otherwise, lost cause.

Pixels have perished in vain for this night's work. Netflix is like a loaded gun, isn't it? The only redeeming factor was episode 6 of "The Unusuals".

movies, jeremy renner
