Saw today that you can now upload your Kindle books to your ipod. The dawn of convenience reading is at hand. Lots of potential and interesting changes are coming with this developing technology. It won't be long before people will be subscribing to a reader service, which will send first chapter and reviews to your phone in a chosen genre so you can handily decide what to buy. Phones won't be replacing readers by any stretch, since the screen is too small for protracted reading times, but it certainly might build the market for short fiction. I can also see all sorts of phone based book reviewing going on. Twitter should have a field day with this. Who knows though, down the road phone tech may develop to where reading an entire novel may be possible on your phone, and it certainly might work well in a serial format where people get sent chapters at a time. This is definately an interesting time in the publishing world.
