Oscar Night
So, I only caught bits and pieces of the Academy Award Show last night, but admittedly, it cool to see Slumdog rake in the Awards. I wish Mickey Rourke had won best actor. What a capper that would have been to a rather remarkable comeback, though he did win best actor at the Spirit awards for indie films. Could have done without the Hugh Jackman dance numbers. I don't care if half the female population drools over the man. The night was made however with the 'Pineapple Express' skit with Seth Rogan and James Franco. That was f'ing hilarious. I almost wish Wall-E had won best picture though. Kid/animated movie aside, to pull off such a wonderful romantic/adventure with so little dialogue was nothing short of amazing.
