AKA: Random stuff because I am bored and don't really have anything else Mandatory to do. Though there are rumblings of impending meme-age, so I will probably be back later on tonight.

And now we are back to the number one thing I miss about the digital cable box... the on-screen guide! Oh, the good old days when I could hit the Guide button ands see not only what was on now, but was was coming on for the next seven days! Forget the TV Guide channel, I was all about the On-Screen Guide! And now I DON'T have it anymore! And for this reason, I was sitting here watching stupid Tennessee vs Ohio State on CBS while the Tarheels were LOSING on ABC! FAIL!!! And then I tried to call my brother to heckle, but since he is a third-shifter, he was asleep and not answering the phone. Double FAIL!!
Today I was supposed to be going out with the Drunks to celebrate a drunk birthday. But, as we are not Planners, it's all kind of being arranged on the fly. I am supposed to be on the lookout for an email or a message board posting, but when I woke up (kind of early.. 4:30), there was nothing, except a drunk-to-drunk post about, "Hey [Birthday Drunk], if you read this in time you need to call [Random Number] or [Other Random Number]. We forgot to write down your cell number plus I don't have my phone on me. Just call ASAP." So now I am unsure if anything is going on or not. Craziness. All I know is that the game comes on in seven minutes, so if I don't hear anything soon... I'm in for the night. [ETA: Much later. It's halftime, and I have heard nothing. So... yeah.]
And, it's snowing! This is the second time in a week. Of course it is that super weak snow that does not even cover the top of the grass. This is the worst snow of all. Of course, if tomorrow was a school day, it would be cancelled (as it was Wednesday or whenever, when there was no snow at all on the streets, but they cancel so far in advance that there was nothing to be done. I mean, by noon you could not even tell it had snowed at all.)
My sister dropped by today to pick up some Christmas presents she had bought before she moved. (Which reminds me. Maybe it's time to take the tree down? I mean, one year I left it up until November, so it's not like this is a big deal) Anyway, that is not the best part of her story. What the best part is is that she is coming back tomorrow. Why? Because her dad is coming by to talk to her.. you know, about not moving out. She had mentioned to him a while back that she was considering it, and he is gonna come by and talk to her about why this is not a good idea. There is no way that this will NOT be hilarious! I mean, how long can the charade go on?! What happens when he finds out what's really going on? Who will be the one to make the Big Reveal?! This is one of those things that you see in the movies, not in real life.
