The Cricket Alphabet!

It's been a shamefully long time since I updated, so I owe you something out of the ordinary. Hmm, I have an idea...

A is for Australia - Jenny got the Study Abroad in Queensland and is SO excited about going! She'll be there for pretty much the whole month of June.

B is for Biscuits - he turned two at the end of February and is as adorable as ever (if not more so). He gives kisses on command now.

C is for ComedyWorx - the club is keeping me SO busy but I'm having so much fun. I am working on an intro video for shows where I'm reffing...and it's forcing me to get over my terror of being videotaped. That will be a good thing.

D is for Daniel - his job search is continuing. I keep feeling like the perfect job for him is right around the corner. *fingers crossed*

E is for eBay - go check out the Team Cassiebug charity auctions! You have a chance to bid on some awesome stuff and raise money for Cystic Fibrosis as well! Here's the link: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZtappymlp

F is for Family - the girls had Spring Break weeks during March, so we had moments when we were the whole family, which was awesome. We have so much fun just being together.

G is for gum - have you tried Orbit's Maui Melon Mint flavor? I'm addicted.

H is for Husband - Jack's company broke ground for their new building and is getting ready for their busy season next month. He's still loving his job and I'm still jealous. :)

I is for iris - I actually had one of my bearded irises bloom this year! Imagine that - a plant that I didn't kill!

J is for Jenny - she recently performed with a ladies' longform improv team at the club and they were incredible. It was one of the best longform shows I've ever seen.

K is for Katie - she is one of her school's representatives for the Disney College Program and lately she's been performing her duties wearing her new Snow White costume, which is beautiful.

L is for longform - speaking of longform teams (which I was back at J), my longform team will have their first show at the club at the end of April. I'm SO excited! If you're in the Raleigh area, you're SO invited!

M is for movies - most recently watched is King of Kong, a documentary about a guy who holds the world record for Donkey Kong and the guy trying to break it. I really enjoyed it - if you ever frequented arcades in the 80's, you'll recognize so many of these character types.

N is for New Zealand - home to Flight of the Conchords, one of my newest obsessions. I got their DVD for Christmas and am now singing along with all their songs. Plus Bret is hot.

O for online - my online time seems to be so much more limited these days. Facebook is awesome for people who can only seem to pop out on the internet for five minutes at a time. (I've been working on this entry for three days.)

P is for Predictably Irrational by Dan Ariely - what I'm currently reading. It's a fascinating book on behavioral economics. So interesting to find out why so many of our seemingly random behaviors are really not so random after all.

Q is for Queen Victoria - she was a character, wasn't she? :)

R is for rain - it's been rainy and gray for the past few days and I know that's a GOOD thing, because we really need the rain, but I'm tired of yucky weather and will welcome some sunshine.

S is for socks - I am wearing deliberately mismatched socks today and I take mischievous joy out of watching people notice that and try to figure out if I know my socks don't match.

T is for Texas - I have a very exciting road trip to Texas planned for next month. More details to follow!

U is for usual - work continues to be about the same. I'm trying to just let it all roll off my back, even on the frustrating days.

V is for vinaigrette - I have been on a major salad-eating spree and am slowly developing an addiction to balsamic vinaigrette. MMmmmmm...

W is for Walt Disney World (of course) - almost a year since I was there and no current plans to go back anytime soon. WAAAAH!!!

X is for XX-large - am down a few pounds (see V is for vinaigrette) and thinking of making a renewed effort to lose a large amount of weight. I don't want to start, though, unless I know I can be committed to a goal.

Y is for YOU - I miss you guys. What's going on with you? What have I missed in the last six weeks?

Z is for zero - that's the number of things I have left to talk about. :)

Okay, I think that brings you up to speed on what's new with me and mine.

*super hug*
