As Jack & I were leaving the restaurant at lunch today, a guy in his 20's was waiting outside and he said to me, "Aren't you the ComedySportz lady?"
This is the first time I've been recognized for that in years, so it came as such a surprise. He said he came to shows just about every weekend when he was young, so he saw me perform a bunch of times and that I was there at his 12th birthday party. Then he said he just wanted to say thanks for being part of some of his best memories of childhood.
Isn't that sweet? It meant so much that he waited around to say that to me!! If I knew his mom, I'd call her and congratulate her on a job well done raising a nice kid.
