Breathe In. Breathe Out. Repeat.
Yesterday was SO busy here at work - a billion things going on and then a surprise inspection from a government official just made it very hectic all day! We aced the inspection, though, which is awesome.
HBP tomorrow night - I can hardly believe it's really here! The reality of it hit me last night when I was reading the end of ashtur's Cry Havoc. The story is great and really powerful. It made me all weepy & emotional, especially when I started thinking about what may happen in HBP and how whatever happens will be REAL and not just fan fic.
Funny realization this morning. Tomorrow's 1stupidquestion will be the 87th. On HBP day!! No wonder fate stepped in and prevented me from asking a question yesterday! I had honestly never put that together until this morning.
We'll be getting the book tomorrow night, but then (insert grimace here) putting it aside until Saturday afternoon. My in-laws are having a yard sale on Saturday morning - Jack and the kids are going over to help out. (I'm staying home...yard sale crowds make me panicky.)
When they get home, Jenny is getting together with her boyfriend and they'll read the book together separately. Jack, Dan & I will dig in and I'll be reading it aloud to them. We are all still happily unspoiled.
