This is priceless.  Apparently John Cusack, playing on the whole 'Islamic Mosque at Ground Zero' kerfuffle, tweeted the other day that they should build “A SATANIC DEATH CULT CENTER AT FOX NEWS HQ AND OUTSIDE THE OFFICES ORDICK ARMEYAND NEWT GINGRICH-and all the GOP WELFARE FREAKS.”

I'm watching a video .... as in tape.  That's right, remember a little thing called VHS?  I finished reading Of Mice and Men the other day and I wanted to rewatch the movie which stars Gary Sinise and John Malkovich (highly recommended).  I only have it on VHS.  That will have to change soon.

OK, I just watched Paranormal Activity, and it kinda freaked me out.  This is the movie that Blair Witch Project was supposed to be (as far as quality to hype ratio), imho.  Sure, PA also got some hype, but nowhere near the extent that BWP got, and PA was much more effective ( Read more... )

SPOILER ALERT!

Just got back from seeing the remade Clash of the Titans.  I went to see it at the little Woodstock theater, so I only paid $4.  That's right, F-O-U-R dollars.  And I feel like I overpaid!  This movie sucked.  It was SO inferior to the original.  Even Harry Hamlin portrayed a more convincing Perseus.  They took out half the things ( Read more... )
