Okay, on the "far side" of my property there is a little bluff with no nearby trees or obstructions for about 300°. This bluff is also high up enough and far away from anything else, so as to be completely open to the world and yet somehow very secluded. On this bluff, I have placed a large (16-foot Ø) trampoline. I have recently found that not only are trampolines extremely comfortable to lay on and enjoy the sunlight, but they also somehow deter all manner of insect that would consider climbing up to nibble on the trampoline's occupants.
Last night, this comfortable bed in the sky also afforded a fantastic view of the fireworks in two different towns nearby. It was nice. And peaceful.
