Watching TV today brought back a very pleasant memory... eating frog legs in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. We were at Fort Drum in New York state, in the middle of winter, and I got lucky enough to go with an officer and a couple others to Kingston. For the life of me I recall nothing about the restaurant other than I could swear it was two-story and had a light blue interior. Anyhow, I ordered the frog legs. Not only was it a very nice sized serving, but I recall it had one of those fancy-dancy things where the small candle keeps the little dish of butter melted. Pure unadulterated heaven. Best flashback memory in quite a while. To say nothing of the drive up.... rustic barns, the Thousand Islands region... the sparkle of the crisp air above a nearly frozen river. There are very few places I would really want to revisit, but, that place is right up there.
