Just got back from the Surgery Center, but not for me this time: Its Madre's turn!
She went in for cataract surgery at seven in the morning, everything went well according to the Ophthaimalogist who did the surgery. For the next twenty-four hours she will have a patch over her right eye, soooo...
I dubbed her "Pirate Mom"!

Its taking a bit to get used to the bifocals, a bit longer than it did to take to the new sunglasses. Last night I turned-in early because of the eyestrain I was feeling.
I decided to spare my f-list the possible collateral damage to computer monitors that might have happened if I had posted a pic of me with the new lenses.

I'm finally getting my new eyeballs today! I'll need to leave for work early, so I can stop by Sears on the way.

Still no word on my new specs.

I have my new glasses ordered up via Sears Optical. I won't mention how much they cost in total, but let's say JCPenny has a 1/2 price sale...

After I got back and found the ad in my mailbox!
