Tomorrow I:
-- Unpack. This is probably pretty important since all my shit is still blocking the front door.
-- Get a haircut. (YAAY, a change!!) I think it's going to be Drew Barrymore in the racetrack scene of Charlie's Angels...but not, uh, blonde and stuff.
-- Sleep in like a mofo.
-- Jog around my new block....yay-rah. (sarcasm, not the same-natured 'yaay' as the haircut)
-- Sleep some more.
That's all I can think of now. I want it to be a nice and easy day. I had to purchase two amazingly scrumptious-looking turtle cheesecakes today after I got off work at job #1. I had to transfer them to job #2 in my passenger seat so I could put them in the freezer here at work, and I'm leaving them in my car while I go to sick Brad's after job #2 so I can give him some zoup and some heavy medication (I push pills for a little extra cash) and then I take them home and one of them stays with me in my freezer (to taunt me until Thanksgiving) and the other is someone else's that I picked up for them. These are $20 cheesecakes and there was some promo running so they're only $10.99 for like a day or something. I guess the moral of that transport story was that I have to look at fucking cheesecakes all night. Cheesecakes that I can't touch!!! I am going to invent a cheesecake diet someday. Until then, it's strictly transportation for Jillio.
Brad's got a really bad sore throat. Mine was closed shut last week and I seriously thought I was going to die. A really bad sore throat is the worst, man. He was incredible and came over and brought me flowers and stayed with me through the worst of it. I was a snot bucket, and he was wonderful. He stayed over and made sure I didn't die, then he went to work. I don't at all envy the guy, cause being in the same room with me PASSED IT TO HIM. HAAHHAHAAHAH. That's horrible. I am one contagious bastard. I bet I've infected like 85 people just by being around them.
Lance, Amy, and Jeremy came over last night and stayed until about 2 a.m. It was GREAT. We had soooo much fun, I really miss hanging out with people. The responsible Jill was constantly checking the clock, counting down the hours of sleep I wasn't going to get, but most of me was just glad to be around people in a non-business environment. Speaking of work, I was late this morning (suprise!)and forgot my nametag in my car so I was "NAVASHTI" all day. Omg, that was fucking great. You wouldn't believe how many people ask how to pronounce it, and I give them a different pronunciation evertime, usually following it with "I'm Slovakian". As soon as I say that, I get the "ahhh, I see" and all is understood. Poor Slovaks....I'm giving them all a bad name.
C'mon 9 o'clock, I wanna get outta here. I gots stuff to do.
