I’m now blogging on Live Journal AND my space but it IS the same blog, I’m doing it because I know some of you are too lazy to look at both and while you are lazy I also know you definitely, desperately want to read about my life. So wherever you might be reading this I shall begin my story, are you sitting comfortably?
I have a new favourite radio station, having no TV and having decided what’s on TV is not worth watching anyway I’ve turned to radio. Radio plays are the best things to fall asleep to, I also find that people are much more willing to state their true opinions when they know people can’t see their face. This is ridicules as they still give real names and with my newly found computer smarts I’m sure I could track them down, not that I want to, stalking has never been my thing. My station of choice at the moment is “Talk Sport” I do love getting riled up and this station makes me furious on a daily basis, in a purging sort of way. This morning as I enjoyed my breakfast of tomato soup (surprisingly delightful in the early hours when your room has no heating) they were talking about cyclists ruining the safety of our roads never mind the fact they’re attempting to preserve our environment AND get some exercise. Then they went on to talk about new statistics which show that men are spending less and less time with their children, this of course was good news at ‘Talk Sport’. According to the presenters babbling this morning these statistics show that men are getting back to there hunter gatherer instincts while woman take on the nurturing role they are suited to by raising the kids. One presenter said he knew lots of woman who went on maternity leave and never came back, I think he was implying they didn’t WANT to come back but failed to take into consideration that they might have lost their jobs and are unable to. So I left the house this morning feeling passionate and ready to argue, I even listened to a bit of ‘My Ruin’ on my personal CD player, how old school of me.
I didn’t have a lecture today I went to court to observe a case so I could write about it for Journalism. It was incredibly boring; they have to go over the facts and evidence again and again. The case concerned a man who was being accused by a female client for indecent assault while he was carrying out a course of Chinese massage and acupuncture.. According to the woman he had massaged her with one hand while masturbating with the other, a claim the accused denies completely. From what I heard while I was there the Chinese masseuse who doesn’t speak any English and has only recently come to work in this country is innocent. Of course when I write my article my opinion will be useless, I hate being un-biased.
The last few day have been fantastic. I’m in a loved up mood and I keep thinking how fantastic my friends are *ahhhh swoon* I had no money yesterday so had resigned myself to eating noodles with no flavour and pottering about my room philosophising while my body went cold turkey from nicotine. When I got to uni though I met Jamie Bell who bought me a lush Subway Cookie then I met VV after my seminar and Jamie Bell again and was bought drinks and generally pampered in a spoilt prices sort of way. I can’t wait till Jamie and Zack’s rap career takes off, they’re favourite song of mine at the moment is ‘Too Butters to Live’. VV and I went to Jules house later that night where I was fed tasty cooked wholesome food and given plenty of goodies from drinks cabinet. Harry and Ken both called and text me on Monday night when I was feeling a tiny bit fragile in Knights Park (it’s ok I just got drunk in the end boys) then when I got home later Liam and Sarah did the best play fight in my room, it was worthy of an award. If you don’t know any of these people then this paragraph has probably been of little to no interest to you but I’m in an emotional gushing mood so…I don’t care.
I should leave the computer now and walk home I’ve decided I’m no longer paying £1.20 when it’s only a 25min walk…it could be a 10min bike ride. Watch out ‘Talk Sport’ I could always bike over to see you.
Everyone should start buying ‘Take a Break’ ‘Bella’ ‘Women’s Own’ and ‘Destiny’ I guarantee you hours of amusement.
Goodbye for now you pixies, fairies, elves, gnomes and goblins. Go work your magic.
