What a Quiet Month for Me...
...I have just realized how little I've posted this month; granted it's a shorter month anyway, but wow. Course I've been busy with things here and there, which helps occupy the time (although doesn't leave much time to post), so I guess it's not a bad thing, although I've had a funky month of sorts anyway, emotion-wise. I basically slept through the entire weekend, at that. After the next month comes and goes, I think things will be easier again (upon hitting one year since my Grandma died, and then my Birthday; T-minus not-very-many days), but I know I can't complain, really.
Well, except that I'm having a horrible allergic reaction to something today, and I have no idea why. I'm itching all over and can't stop sneezing! Ugh. Just what I needed to finish off the month. @_@ And of course of all days I need it, I've left my Benadryl at home. Bah. I guess I'll go out and buy some later.
So far my new fishy seems happier, although I'm pretty sure he wishes I fed him better food (BETTA BETTA FOOD!) and I think would feel more secure in his bowl if I put a small plant in there. So, I guess I should do something about that this week. He is swimming around a lot more and did eat a bit of the standard "pellet" food I've got on hand, so that's a good sign. We've been exchanging a lot of stares, too. The other fish in the house seem to be settling in well also; I've found out the other two fish I didn't know names of are now being called "Henry Hearts" and Spike, LOL.
Oh and also, Jennifer Hudson ROCKS MY SOCKS. Good for you, girlfriend! And I think it's funny how not only did Al Gore basically win the 2000 Election *COUGHS*, but now he's got himself an Academy Award! Take that, SHRUBYA! (I hope that doesn't spoil anything for anyone out there.) I didn't watch all of the Oscars, but it looks like those who won were very deserving for the most part. Yay. ^_^
Anyway, I must nurse this allergic reaction and hope that I don't end up with hives from head-to-toe, especially given that I don't know what's causing them. Ugh. I hope everyone else has a good week. ^_^
