The seduction style seems accurate for you, even if you don't use is for seductive purposes. I think when you do decide to be seductive, that's a big part of what is going to come out, because that is a big part of who you are, and it really is attractive, though not to everyone. You've already found two types of men who've been attracted to that; I hope you don't let the first type shut you down from the second type.

My family has a Brock in it; my cousin's son is named Brock. (That's not ambiguous; I only have ten cousins, and only one of them has a kid.) He's Bill and Marietta's first grandchild, and Grandma JJ's first great-grandchild; I don't know if he's the first great-grandchild for Irene Blesch (Marietta's mother) or not, since Marietta has two sisters whose offspring I have not tracked. We missed having five generations of my family at once by about five weeks; it would have been Grandma Jeff -> Grandma JJ -> Bill -> Chris -> Brock, but Grandma Jeff died about a month before Brock was due.

I don't know what to say about the "official" grandchildren theme, but I feel I should say something. I know there were times it was an issue how many grandchildren Papa Joe had; was it 11, 14, or 16? He had 11 "official" ones, as you put it, natural children of his natural children. I have five setpsiblings, which would make 16 if they were counted. However, the general tendency (which bothered me) was to only count the younger three, and so get 14. Again, that bothered me, becaue I felt like it was unfair to exclude my sister who is my age (and the older one), because if it was just age-based, that would exclude me too. There were reasons why it was appropriate to count that way, partly because Kim and Vicki had had paternal grandparents they had known where Fallon and the twins hadn't (I don't know why exactly, but I've been told this). Still, there's unfairness.

On the same topic, a different tack (and something more closely linked to your aunt's situation) which Jenni and I have discussed concerns my parents. My mother has one natural child and zero stepchildren. The latter could conceivably change; the former won't. Assuming she doesn't remarry to someone with children, she won't ever have any grandchildren, since if she's waiting on me she's going to be out of luck. Fortunately I've never heard Comment One out of her about this, so I'm content. My father has one natural child and five stepchildren; the latter have combined for three children so far (so my father's wife has three grandchildren). One of those three (Jyssica) is actually older than my twin brothers (by about six months, 29Jul03 to 27Jan04). So the whole thing is a bit muddled, if you ask me. And I don't care. If Dad wants grandchildren, he already has some (and will probably get more out of Fallon at least, down the line); he doesn't need to depend on me (which again would only lead to disappointment).

My Mom still muses about how she wishes she had grandchildren. She knows my "traditional" values and moral standards, and knows I won't just run out and do something about that without, well, getting married or at least seriously committed to someone, but I also know she would love grandkids. Neither my brother or myself are even on that path yet, so who knows...with my luck, I may be infertile before I ever meet the right man, so here's hoping my brother at least has a chance. I'd at least like to have nieces and nephews someday!
