Chapter Six: My Sleeping Issues

Kame gave him a glare.
“What? You can’t do it?” Jin asked, he tried to hide his smirked but failed to do so. He’s so happy that he had won with their little argument. “Victory is mine!” He decided to go back on sitting on the bed but he was surprised on what the young man’s sudden move.
Kame held Jin’s right ear and slowly drag the older man out of his room. The older man complained but he didn’t mind it.
“Itai! Itai! Itai!” Jin repetitively said in protest of the pain his having now, or to be more specific, his ear is having. “It hurts, stop it!”
When they reach the doorway, Kame pushed Jin out from his room. “Who says I can’t do it?” He was about to closed the door when Jin block his foot on the side of the doorway.
“Ouch!” Jin complained. “Wait, Kame”.
“What is your problem? Why can’t you just go to your room?” Kame asked.
“First, I don’t have a problem. And second, I can’t go to my room,” Jin answered as he count on his fingers.
“Jin, you’re two years older than me and you’re still afraid to sleep alone? Don’t tell me you still sleep with your mom singing you a lullaby,” Kame joked.
“What!! For your information, I’m not afraid to sleep alone and my mom stop singing lullabies for me until I’m ten years old,” Jin defended himself.
“Really?” Kame raised his eyebrow. “Then how come you always want to sleep here?”
“Who says I want to sleep your room?” Jin asked. “Like what I’ve said awhile ago, I’m just visiting. So if you don’t mind, I’m going back on visiting your room,” he tried to enter Kame’s room but failed to do so.
“From now on, you are not allowed to enter my room,”
“What?” Jin creased his forehead. “Kame, I can’t believe this”.
“I can’t believe it either,” Kame shrugged.
“What? You’re being very unreasonable, Kame,”
“Ugh, this conversation is useless. Let’s just talk about it tomorrow, ok? Good night,” Kame tried to close the door but, again, Jin prevented him from doing it. “What is wrong with you!!” this time it’s not a question anymore. Clearly, Kame is starting to feel annoyed.
“Ok, fine.” Jin took a deep breath. “I’m not used to sleep alone”.
Kame laughed.
“I’m serious. I always have someone with me when I’m sleeping,” Jin explained.
“Oh, this is ridiculous. You’re lying. Do you actually think I will believe that?”
“Yes, I mean, no,” Jin sighed. “And I’m not lying”. So, could I sleep here tonight?”
“Nice try, my fiancé. But no can do” “Na-uh, sorry. Can’t. Bye,” Kame quickly closed the door and locked it before Jin stopped him again.
“Kame!! Open this door!” Jin yelled.
“Sorry, can’t hear you!” Kame answered as go back from his seat. “Serves you right. This is just the start of your payment for insulting me. Won’t fall from that guy, huh! I’ll make sure you’ll eat your words!”
“Fine! You think I’ll beg for you? Huh! There are tons of girls out there who want to sleep with me! So don’t complain when you hear unnecessary noises from my room! Because it only means we are having fun!” Jin yelled as he grabbed his phone on his pocket. He started looking for a girl he’ll going to sleep with tonight. “Who will I sleep with tonight? Mami? Yuri? Cara? Hmm… can’t choose”.
“Looks like he’s not joking after all,” Kame said as he giggled softly.

“Good morning, Kazu-chan” Reiko greeted as she stepped in the doorway.
“Good morning. So what brings you here?” Kame asked.
“Oh, nothing. I just want to visit my friend and my stupid cousin. So where is exactly my stupid cousin? Still sleeping?” Reiko asked as she was gestured by Kame to come in.
“Yeah,” Kame briefly answered.
“I see,” Reiko said. “I’ll check up on him. It’s already nine o’clock, he should be awake now,” she was walking towards Jin’s room.
“Uhmm… why don’t we just let him sleep for awhile?” Kame suggested as he was trying to catch up with Reiko’s fast pace of walking.
“Come on, Kazu. Don’t spoil him by letting him sleep all day. You’re not his maid, you know. He should help you out since it is summer vacation,” Reiko said as he was now in front of Jin’s room.
Kame slowly block Jin’s door to Reiko. “Uhmm… it’s alright if he’s late on waking up. Like what you’ve said, it is summer vacation so don’t expect someone like him to wake up early,” Kame said as he laughed nervously.
Reiko raised his eyebrow. “Kazu, you look like you’re hiding something”.
“Hiding? I’m not hiding something. What would I be hiding?” Kame was continuously on laughing nervously.
“Well, if you’re not hiding something, then please move over,”
“Why?”
“What why? Kazu stand aside, I’ll just wake Jin up,” Reiko‘s voice sounds annoyed. Kazu noticed it, so he mumbled ‘ok’ before he step aside.
Reiko energetically opened the door. “Good morning, my fav-,” she was cut off by the site she was seeing right now.
Pieces of clothes lying on the floor, two people cuddling and sleeping in one bed and liquor placed at the bed side table.
Reiko faced Kame. “Get a bucket of ice cubes,” she commanded. Kame quickly obeyed. Then, she turned around to faced Jin and his girl. “Wrong choice of the day, my favorite cousin,” she whispered.
She walked near the two people, who’s oblivious on what’s gonna happened to them. “Wake up,” Reiko said. But not one even dared to move.
“Uhmm… why don’t we just wait for them to wake up?” Kame suggested.
“I don’t want to wait. I want them to WAKE UP! NOW!” Reiko said in an angry tone. Unfortunately, Jin and his girl are still unaffected to Reiko’s fuming shout. “They are testing my patience, huh? Kazu, give me the bucket of ice cubes”.
Kame hesitated at first but he finally gave it to Reiko. He knew what’s gonna happened but he keep quiet because talking to a very angry Reiko is not such a good idea.
“You give me no choice my cousin,” Reiko warned. She slowly pulled the blanket that covers Jin and his girl’s naked bodies.
Kame quickly diverted his eyes somewhere else to avoid seeing the ‘things’ that are not supposed to be seen. As for Reiko, she tried not feel awkward so that, she could continue on her plan.
“If I said, wake up. You guys should WAKE UP!!!” Reiko threw the bucket of ice cubes on the naked bodies of the two.
Jin quickly felt the cold of the ice cubes in his skin. He was shocked that he fell of the bed. As for the girl, she was still asleep as if nothing had happened. This made Reiko went to the bathroom and fill up the bucket with cold water.
“Oh, look our uninvited guest is still sleeping. What do you think we should do, Kazu-chan?” Reiko acted like an innocent girl. Kame just looked down and kept quiet. “I know, why don’t we use this bucket of cold water?” Reiko said smiling. She poured the water at the girl. The girl woke up from her sleep, screaming from the coldness of the water.
“WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?” the girl asked angrily.
Reiko crossed her arms on her chest and raised her eyebrow. “I’m the one who should ask that, you flirt”.
The girl gasped. “I’m not a flirt” the girl defended.
“Ha! So what do you call yourself, an angel? You’re in someone’s home,” Reiko point the floor. “Sleeping with this idiot,” pointing her finger to Jin “Without even minding that there’s also someone living here,” now, pointing at Kame.
Jin can’t argue because he was too shock from the cold. He couldn’t still think straight. So both, he and Kame are quiet, watching Reiko who’s showing her anger to the girl that Jin brought home last night.
“Change into your clothes and go home! Never come back on this place again or stay close to Jin. You are not allowed to contact Jin or anything about Jin, is that understood,” Reiko commanded.
“You’re not the boss of me,” the girl said.
Reiko smirked. “Hmm… Let’s see, why don’t I just drown you to death? or I can just pushed you out of the window, since we are on the top floor not only you are surely dead, your bones are in million pieces too,” Reiko’s trying to scare the said girl so that she could already leave Jin alone.
“You’re sick!! Crazy!! Weird!!” the girl shouted angrily, but obvious to her eyes that she’s afraid of Reiko’s threat to her.
“I’m maybe sick, but I’m not a SLUT like you,” Reiko said with giving on emphasis on the word ‘slut’. “And as for you STUPID,” she turned to Jin. “We need to talk, NOW!!”
Jin hurriedly stood up and quickly dressed himself.
“Kame and I will wait at the living room. Dress up quickly, I don’t want to wait!” Reiko said before she slammed the door.
