[For Rodney - September 22]
The entire weekend, as far as Jill was concerned, had been entirely fucked up.
To be honest, she wasn't even sure Rodney had noticed that she hadn't been around for the past week and a half, she wasn't sure if he was at all aware that she'd been avoiding him, but that wasn't really the problem. Whether he'd realized it or not, she realized what she'd been doing and that was a huge step forward. Usually when she did her best to sabotage any relationship she was in, she didn't even acknowledge that she was doing it.
Although she doubted he'd be there, she checked Rodney's hut first, then made her way around to the back of Teyla's hut where she knew the computers were. Standing there, she watched him for a moment, frowning faintly. She hadn't done anything, nothing at all had happened, but she'd certainly thought about it.
She'd thought about it and now, standing here, she couldn't remember why.
So maybe he would disappear again, maybe she would. She'd worry about that when the time came.
"Hey," she said quietly, approaching him from behind.
