The Master Plan In Five Easy Steps
1. Get Fired
This should be easy. I'm seriously doubting whether I should even go to work tomorrow. We're supposed to get a foot of snow over night, and I'll be damned if I'm going to drive all the way to Royal Oak in that shit just for my boss to tell me to go back home.
2. Get Tax Return
I mailed the stuff out on Monday. Now I just have to wait.
3. Fly to California and Visit Jess
Spend a week with her. Meet her mom, woo one or both of her bosses, look at jobs, get a feel for the place. Also: Disneyland.
4. Come Home. List my Townehouse.
This'll be the tricky part. Dad says I could sell it pretty fast, but I have my doubts. He doesn't think I could get more than 15K for it, but 15K is 15K more than I have now. O: I may have to work a shitty job in the meantime to make end meet until it gets sold.
5. GET THE FUCK OUT OF DODGE.
Dad says he'd help me drive to CA, if it came to that. I don't know whether to take him up on that or not. I'd like to go by myself, but that's actually a really terrifying thought. We'll see.
