Finished G.U. Vol 1 last night. This one IS cut for spoilers. (if you care)
Kuhn, I...wasn't joking. D:
First and foremost, I. LOVE. AZURE. KITE. ZOMBIE!KITE. The noises he makes are just...so...fucking...fabulous. I wanted him to talk. SO. BAD.
And the whole Elk/Mia Endrance/Macha thing made me ACHE, because I always had a really big, squishy soft spot for Macha, all the way from SIGN to the first games, and now this.
GUH. FAMILIAR MUCH?
And I feel bad for Elk Endrance Kaoru. I hope he gets a better deal in the end. Clearly he's been a fucking wreck for seven years, and grew up to be a shut-in uberfag. The guy just needs a fucking friend.
(I've heard some really fabulous rumors about in-game marriage, in which Endrance is an option. YAY FOR GAY.)
Now. My biggest complaint is that there isn't much to do after the fact. My Books are almost filled, and I still have to do the NPC shit, and one quest left over. But no extra quests? Hidden dungeons? In the first series, finishing the game meant my inbox and the forums would light up with extra stuff to do. Not to mention area keywords nicked from animes and adverts and stuff. Geez. Isn't there anything extra? D:
ETA: HOLY CHRIST I had no idea Zombie!Kite/Haseo was the fandoms number one pairing of choice. W.T.F. <3
