Christmas & Doctor Who go hand in hand

Hello f-list :)

I just wanted to share with you all how my Christmas went. I used to do posts on what I'd get for my birthday or at thrift store trips and felt nostalgic for such posts. So, on with the baked goods and hauls :)

Couldn't wait to bake these - a homage to Ten: red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing and "ball-bearing" sprinkles.

Devil's food cake with milk chocolate icing and large and small red and green sprinkles (I love to bake heh).

This is a round strawberry cake with vanilla icing. Ball-bearings and sprinkles :D

I couldn't help making a lot of these cupcakes a la Ten lol. I really wanted to make banana cupcakes. I actually found a great recipe for banana and chocolate chip cupcakes - next time I guess :)

This was a package sent to me by my friend Sage aka sagiegirl The cutest stickers, coffee is more than welcomed! Gel pens (can never have enough of those! and my favorite colors too!), the cutest card and a copy of the zine I contributed to! Thanks Sage!

These were sent to me by my good friend Josh in New York - he found the comic books at a yard sale! Perfect condition - and they were a huge surprise lol. Also, Hello Kitty charms and an adorable Hello Kitty bracelet :) I adore Hello Kitty :D Thanks Josh!

And this beauty :D is from my swap partner eris_asteri It was .... omg, such a surprise lol. I love Hello Kitty and My Little Pony so everything centered around them is welcomed! The lucky stars are from her own invention! They have Daleks, Christmas Trees and the Tardis on them :D The book is one of her favorites and I cannot wait to read it (I love books!) and HELLO! Jammy Dodgers and Jelly Babies! lol I actually squealed when i saw them hahaha.

Oh, but nothing....NOTHING prepared me for the wonderfulness that was that homemade snowglobe with the the Tardis and a Christmas tree - it is beautiful and just so crafty. It now sits next to my Tardis cookie jar on my desk :D Thank you Lisa!

*Note* I just noticed that we could play "How many Doctor Who things can you spot in this shot?" lol The love people, the love.

This was from my sister, brother-in-law and the kids. Like I said, I love Hello Kitty heh. They attempted to get me all of the watches from McDonalds but couldn't find the Hello Kitty one lol It was wonderful and I told them they so didn't need to worry about it haha. They also gifted me a gift card to the cinema (love!).

Now for the mac daddy lol. This beauty is from my boyfriend, Erick. He got me WAY too much! But I love every bit of it - the fifth Doctor Who series (!!!), Tom Baker's Robot (I LOVE this Classic Who eppie!), Eclipse (yes, I like the series), and Sherlock! it made me *sigh* with fandom love.

And as if that wasn't enough, he got me Jane Austen's seven novels in one gorgeous B&N bound edition and a Kindle! Oh, way too much! But thank you sweetie!

I'd love to see others' Christmas gifts, especially any DW related items :)
