Though, it looks like he did end up getting the un-spoken respect of Gorden out of this fiasco.
Thinking about it, movie'verse Batman has way more people who knows his secret identity then movie'verse Superman.

Superman is incredibly tight with his secret identity in the movies. And Batman is actually unusually lax--Alfred, Lucius, and Rachel in one movie!
Glad this one worked for you and thanks for the feedback!

Ow, what an image. :( Poor Bruce indeed! I'm glad you're liking this...it's been a while since I've had a secondary character with as much screen time as Harv and I'm never as comfortable once I wander off the big Two. :)

oh my god.
this chapter was just so touching and tragic, but of course beutifully written.
as usual, great characterization and plot development, and i can't stand how great your harvey and bruce voices are here. oh, and jim! can't forget jim!
bottom line: love it. So very very much.

I love jim. I could probably write a whole fic of Jim Gordon sitting in a chair and brooding. He'd do it so poetically. :)

haha, you probably could. i'd certainly enjoy it.
on that note...is it really wrong to like bruce/jim...? i think on some level it is, but there's just something so sweet and sad about it...i dunno.
anyway, er, yeah. i'm gonna go now. good job.

God, think of the identity porn though! Jim and Bruce can finish having hot sex in which Bruce delicately shifts between the playboy and his realler self, and then Jim goes off to work and meets Batman on the rooftop...and they both know he probably knows it's his lover but he isn't sure and doesn't really want to know...
I don't know why more people don't write Bruce/Jim. I find it quite tempting.

Also the convo between Harvey and the Vigilante is very well written and entertaining, these two probably have the best dialogue in this chapter.
And Clark, it must be frustrating for him having all those powers and he can't really help Bruce, or Harvey for that matter eh?

They certainly do! They really stole the scene for me. I had to gag Batman because whenever he tried to interrupt them the scene dragged awfully...I had to just let them go. ;)

And yeah, poor Clark, he can move mountains but sometimes it's just not enough. :(
Thanks for the feedback!

That's a wonderful way of putting it, thank you! *grins* That's almost exactly the idea I was hoping to get across, and you got it before I made it explicit in the next chapter! Woot!
Thanks so much, you make my day...
