Hardworking
superbatsanta (who goes by the alias of
tmelange by day and delivers ficcy goodness at night) has been mighty kind to me this year! Every day I've gotten a dose of fabulous S/B stories to read and it's kept me purring like a kitten.
I hope all of you wonderful writers (and this goes just as much for the WFA writers as well) can post the stories again at your journal and cross-post to
worlds_finest when the anonymous period is over (Is that okay, W_F moderators?) I haven't been commenting at all on the WFAs because I'd rather people have the comments on their own journals...I've been commenting on most of the Secret Santas but I'll happily comment again when they're re-posted. Also, this gives everyone a chance to make sure and see anything they might have missed in the holiday rush.
Anyway, I wanted to take this chance to thank
tmelange for all her hard work and to point everyone to
superbatsanta and recommend just a couple of the stories that jumped out at me, though they're all extremely wonderful and are making my holidays super-happy!
A couple of very awesome smutty stories were posted recently,
"Embarrassing as it May Be" and
"Special Delivery." The former is a funny and very hot sex scene from "Sins of Youth," where Clark and Bruce were turned into teen-agers. Rampaging hormones lead to distraction for them and delight for us.
The latter is sex pollen.
Oh! Do you need more of a description than that? Well, I don't, but...it's meltingly written, dizzyingly sensual...damn, my words aren't good enough, so: “What’s going on?” Bruce asked, turning on him, all blazing blue eyes and black hair that looked like black marble carved to life, skin just begging to be touched… and Clark blinked at him slowly, trying to remember what exactly words were and why they were important.
Hurr.
And for something on the hysterically cracktacular side, there's
"Bat-Seat Driver," featuring an extremely unconvincing (and hilarious) drag-queen Bruce and some of the funniest driving scenes ever. One quick exchance will sum up the surrealistic humor of this piece:
"I hate possums," said Bruce.
"Oh, you hate everything," said Clark, dismissively.
Seriously, any story with Batman announcing his eternal loathing for possums is a winner in my book.
But don't take my word for it, check them all out! There's Bruce failing to cook even as a medieval Japanese woman, a prison rape scene, teeny Bruce and Clark at a museum together, some delightfully NSFW art (yum!), J'onn playing matchmaker, amnesiac Clark, Flash signing up the JLA for a reality-tv program...
superbatsanta's got something for you in that stocking, baby.
